Whether you're along Easton Road (Route 611) or tucked into the Abington side, we measure every roof plane, form each gutter run on site to the exact length, and give you a written price before any work starts.
Willow Grove homes and the gutters they need
A lot of Willow Grove housing dates from the 1920s through the 1960s: brick and stone twins, Cape Cods and center-hall colonials. On these homes we often find rotted fascia behind leaking corners and downspouts emptying right next to the foundation. Before we hang new seamless gutters we replace any soft wood, so the new system is anchored to something solid.
Local tip: On older Willow Grove twins, press gently on the fascia board behind the gutter before you get quotes. If it gives, the wood is soft, and any honest quote should include replacing it. New gutters screwed into rotted wood will pull loose within a few seasons.
Sizing gutters for Willow Grove storms
Short, heavy summer downpours are what overwhelm gutters here. Roof area, pitch and valleys decide the size, not habit. On larger and steeper Willow Grove roofs that usually means 6-inch gutters with 3"×4" downspouts, and extensions that carry water several feet from the foundation.
