Seamless Gutters

Seamless Gutters, Formed On Site to Fit Your Home

We roll each gutter run from a single coil of aluminum right in your driveway, so there are no seams along the run to leak. Correctly sized, pitched and hung on hidden hangers, they are built to handle Pennsylvania downpours.

Why seamless?

Most gutter leaks start at a seam. Older sectional gutters have a joint every 10 feet, held together with caulk that dries, cracks and lets go. Seamless gutters are formed on site from one continuous coil of aluminum, so a 40-foot run is one piece. Seams only exist where the gutter turns a corner, and those are sealed and riveted.

The result: fewer leaks, a cleaner look from the street, and a gutter that is cut to the exact length of your roofline.

What’s included in a TopFlow seamless install

  • Tear-off and haul-away of your old gutters and downspouts.
  • Fascia inspection. Rotted or soft boards are replaced so hangers anchor into solid wood.
  • Drip edge check. Missing drip edge lets water run behind the gutter, so we flag it and quote it if needed.
  • Seamless gutters formed on site in 5” or 6” K-style, color-matched to your trim.
  • Hidden hangers spaced for snow load. No spikes punched through the face of the gutter.
  • Correct pitch toward each downspout, so water does not sit.
  • Downspouts sized and placed to handle your roof, with extensions that carry water away from the foundation.
  • Cleanup and walkthrough. We water-test the system and walk it with you.

Sizing: 5-inch vs 6-inch

Roof area, pitch and valleys decide the size, not habit. A steep roof with a valley dumping into one inside corner can overwhelm a 5-inch gutter in a ten-minute summer storm. We measure every roof plane on your estimate and recommend the size that will actually keep up. Often that means 6-inch gutters with 3”×4” downspouts.

Our standard install is 6-inch K-style (“6K”) seamless aluminum, which carries far more water than the 5-inch gutters most homes here were built with.

Add guards while we’re there

Since the crew, ladders and equipment are already on site and the gutters are brand-new and perfectly pitched, adding micro-mesh gutter guards at the same time is the most cost-effective way to get both.

FAQ

Seamless Gutters questions

What is the difference between seamless and sectional gutters?

Sectional gutters come in 10- or 20-foot pieces joined with sealant, and every joint is a future leak. Seamless gutters are formed on site from a continuous coil, so each run is one piece with seams only at the corners.

Should I get 5-inch or 6-inch gutters?

5-inch works for many smaller roofs, but 6-inch carries about 40% more water and is the better choice for larger or steeper roofs, homes with valleys that funnel water to one spot, and anyone who has seen overflow in heavy storms. We size each home on the estimate.

How long do seamless aluminum gutters last?

Properly installed seamless aluminum gutters commonly last 20 years or more. Hanger spacing, pitch, and keeping them clear (guards help) matter as much as the material.

What colors are available?

Seamless aluminum comes in a wide range of factory colors, including white, almond, brown, black, bronze and clay. We match your trim or HOA requirements.

Do you replace the fascia if it is rotted?

Yes. New gutters need solid wood to fasten to. We replace soft or rotted fascia sections before hanging the new system and include it in your written quote.

How long does installation take?

Most homes are done in one day. Larger homes or jobs that include fascia repair may take two.
